Special Marine Airfares for Marine

As it is a privilege that the
airlines extend marine airfares to the maritime community, we need
to ensure that everyone using marine fares and the associated
benefits are qualified to use the fares. Therefore, we follow the
airlines' policies closely and advise our travelers to carry proof
that they are indeed traveling to or from a vessel for work
purposes. Forms of proof that are accepted by airlines include: a
letter on company/ship letterhead outlining the need to travel, a
seaman’s log book or a company contract showing the details of
employment and the embarkation port. You may be asked to produce
this documentation during check-in at the airport.
